Judi Madsen, aka the Green Fairy of Green Fairy Quilts, started piecing and quilting at a young age. She grew up watching her mother create many beautiful quilting and sewing projects.
When she turned 16, she happily began working for a local fabric store. She quickly realized she had a love of designing, and at the age of 25 with the push of her husband and mother she published her first quilt pattern. It has grown from there. What used to be a hobby, she and her husband have now turned into a full-time business selling Judi's quilt pattern designs all over the world and expanding their on-line store selling a large variety of fabrics and notions.
Judi is an award winning Long Arm Machine Quilter, and uses her A-1 Long Arm to custom machine quilt for others. She travels the world teaching at guilds and quilt shows. She grew up in South Jordan, Utah in a family of 11 children.
Clint manages everything with the website, including selecting and purchasing all the fabric and adding all the products, descriptions and pictures to the site. He's in charge of the sales, sending the weekly newsletters and takes care of all the customer service. He grew up in Bluffdale, Utah and also came from a large family of 9 children.
Judi and Clint met in High School and started dating in their senior year. They married in 2002 and now live in Saint George, Utah and have 4 kids. Clint lived in Romania for 2 years on a church mission and started a non-profit charity for orphans in Romania. Once a year he travels to Romania to take donated quilts to orphans, and uses the donated money to buy food, school supplies, clothing, toys etc. for those in need. Please visit their link about their charity. 100% of your donations will be used by them in Romania for those in need.
