Judi Madsen, aka the Green Fairy of Green Fairy Quilts, started piecing and quilting at a young age. She grew up watching her mother create many beautiful quilting and sewing projects.
When she turned 16, she happily began working for a local fabric store. She quickly realized she had a love of designing, and at the age of 25 with the push of her husband and mother she published her first quilt pattern. It has grown from there. What used to be a hobby, she and her husband have now turned into a full-time business selling Judi's quilt pattern designs all over the world and expanding their on-line store selling a large variety of fabrics and notions.
Judi is an award winning Long Arm Machine Quilter, and uses her A-1 Long Arm to custom machine quilt for others. She travels the world teaching at guilds and quilt shows. She grew up in South Jordan, Utah in a family of 11 children.
