Checkered Tote Quilted Bag Pattern
Designed by Judi Madsen This is a must have tote pattern.  This pattern features three simple colors to make a wonderful large tote bag that you can take anywhere.  Don't be alarmed at the small piecing because this pattern uses strip piecing and like I always say, if you can stitch in a straight line, you can strip piece! Finished tote is approximately 18 x 16 x 4 inches. Fabric Requirements - Brown (bag, trim & inside bag lining) - 1 1/2 yards Green (bag & large inside pocket) - 3/4 yard Cream (bag & small inside pocket) - 5/8 yard Lining - 1 1/3 yards Batting (Hobbs 96" wide) - 5/8 yard Finished bag is approximately 18 x 16 x 4
